Nine of us going in a mini bus. Long time since I last saw Albion at Old Trafford. Think it was a Coca Cola cup replay.

3 of us bought them this morning. Haven't managed an away trip this season so this seemed a no brainer to go to Old Trafford in the latter stages of the most famous cup competition in the world.

Bring it on!

How much will the club make from this game?

There is £180,000 in prize money, increasing to a minimum of £360,000 if we win
There is our share of £247500 in TV money - not sure if this is split 50/50
There is 45% of the gate receipts. Lets say average gate receipt of £25 and a gate of 70,000 then there is a further £787500 here.

So a good £1m so far, plus whatever (if anything) we earned from our share of gate receipts against Palace, Boro and Coventry.

Read somewhere that united were taking about £5m a game in 2016. Obviously includes hospitality etc but gives you some idea.

Less 1/6 of all takings figures you mention, goes in VAT to HMRC.

I'm hoping it will go to "Supporters with a purchase history" so that my nephew can come along. 4 STH currently holding off waiting for that :D

Strange one given the near hysteria of the loyalty points needed for the first game at OT.

We've less away days this year, plus each away ticket has been cheaper too, saving anything between £10-£25 on ticket prices away from home last season.

Indeed. And that hysteria of the few over loyalty points has led to the closure of the ticket exchange....

is that the total sold so far? Me and other half are hoping to go, and waiting for tickets (given my level of points) is like waiting for christmas!

Will the blocks open subject to demand? Got a few mates in diffferent loyalty point brackets.

As above, 335 is now open.

There's currently just over 1,000 seats on sale in blocks 334 and 335. Block 336 has not been up for sale yet, which means there'll be just under 2,000 tickets still to sell.

I'm hoping to have one of them - so if it gets down to 'with purchase history' I'll be happy. Otherwise it's in the home end with the brother-in-law.
