We are going to lose, so why not have a real go.
Would rather go down by one goal than a hat trick scored after holding on for 80 mins.

As Jose M says, Sevilla and Brighton ties are more important than Liverpool win because they're die or live games.

If we turn up with the right attitude (not the Goodison one) then hopefully our cup side can give their cup side a decent game.

Our away form (and points gained so far this season) is marginally better than that which was expected of us.

But could have been so much more,

I think, if we stay up and are able to improve our squad, we'll see a more attacking strategy for some away games next season.

Tough ground to go to, hopefully keep it tight and if we lose by 1 or 2 it won't dent our GD too much.

R U from the Ash Barnes school of footie comments? He was "happy with the 3 points" after a cup game... plank...

We have 10 points from 15 PL away matches. It is really not that bad.

No we really are not as bad as some make out. Give it a go, nothing to lose, better off losing by 3 rather than defending a one nil loss, ......do people not realise it really does depend on how the home side plays. More often than not the home side attacks the most leaving the away side on the back foot and defending for large periods of the game. Chelsea had zero shots away to City recently. Should they have had a real go? It was because City were dominant and pressurised Chelsea to the limit. Swansea had no shots (albeit with 10 men) against Huddersfield....should they thrown caution to the wind and ' had a go'?
I sometimes think supporters think the opposition will let us play to the style we wish to play but it is just not that simple. We have a great home record and we have dictated the play in several games it's the nature of the game that home advantage is just that.
