With Pep departing we had better hurry up and extend Potter's contract.

Either Pep is bigging him up as part of pre-match mind games, or he really rates Potter, or both. If it's either of the last two he'll be off there faster than you can say "career progression" if offered. Length of Brighton contract will be irrelevant.

Cute that you think different.

TBF if Potter is as good as some say on NSC he should already be coaching a big Champions League side..............

This summer 2021 arms race between Real/PSG/Manure/Citeh/Chelsea is as much about trying to make statements as it is the new players.

Mansour and Guardiola have sports washed money to spend.

I reckon they’re buy a striker and LB by the 1st.

Trippier and either Haaland or Mbappe?

They have the money and don’t give a fck about financial sustainability or rules.

Thought they were getting Harry Kane, didn't.

Thought they were getting Cristiano Ronaldo, didn't.

Mendy arrested.

Pep says he's leaving in 2023.

Still time to pull a Haaland or Mbappe out of the fire I guess :lolol:

..... and to make matters worse, they've got a tricky home match against Arsenal tomorrow. Can things get any worse for them?

Oh......

On your "tbf" part... yes possibly (or possibly not, time will tell) if clubs always made sensible manager decisions... Plenty of evidence that they dont.

Sometimes the incompetence in board rooms are a bit frightening. Imagine having a billion dollar company and putting Mikel Arteta in the most important position.

Not forgetting that Cop26 is approaching, and Boris the Buffoon is bound to negotiate an agreement that halts oil production overnight to address climate change, and seizes the assets of the oiligarchs to engineer a massive global redistribution of wealth, sending City out of the EFL by 2030
