Apart from our couple of brain-farts that was excellent again......very tactically astute, restricting them to not very much at all. Crowd will really start getting on their back if they don't create something early in the second half - frustration is already evident. Maupay on with 10 to go and a 94th minute winner incoming :D

I don’t mean to get carried away, but do we think Caicedo has left it too late to win the Ballon d’Or this year? Is he just going to have to settle for winning it in 2023?

He really is going to be a superstar, isn't he?

Hopepfully another 90th minute winner from a Mwepu thunderbolt coming up.

How dare we not allow the mighty Man City to score a goal in the first half!! The commentators can't quite believe the audacity of Brighton denying petrodollar FC the right to automatically win the game, we should be docked 10 points and relegated to League 2 immediately

Good to hear plenty of whistling from the crowd.

Yep, they're getting edgy now after last night's result.

Solid performance from us first half. More of the same please second half.

Tough half but we have defended well.

Big Bob needs to calm down (despite the demeanour)

A bit sloppy in our passing but their press is one of the best.

Id like to see Sarmiento only early to give city something to worry about. Have Welbeck playing target man with Sarmiento playing off of him

very good half. would like to see sarmiento in the second half, as city push us back more there'll be some great areas for him to get into with his pace and dribbling ability

Not sure if he's ready but would like to see Webster on for March and allow Cucurella To go to WB. March seems too slow.

Caicedo and Mwepu looking like brilliant signings. Immense tonight.

Very good half, some decent attacking moves let down by the final third. I think this game would possibly suit Maupay because he's an annoying little shit and their defence doesn't look that convincing.
Sanchez needs to cut out the stupid mistakes.
Caicedo man of the match so far (for us at least) he's absolute quality.

Did anyone else hear someone shout 'Gunoguan - DO SOMETHING' so funny

Frustration creeping in and an impatient corporate crowd

2 total spazmo episodes, still don't understand it. School boy stuff.

All things considered a very good half . . . What has HP got up his sleeve for the second half I wonder . . . . Please not Lallana . . . . Too risky and we're too good already.

Key for us not to concede early in the second half (as we have done numerous times)

Crowd is getting fed up and hopefully we can play on this.

It wasn't from a Sussex accent! Maybe an arab, or a 'merican?

SOmeone mentioned, Webster for Solly, makes sense to me, better in defence and push up a bit with pace . . . . SOllys done ok but not sure he's got the key to unlock Man City in any way . . .

Please prove me wrong Solly ;-)

66% possession, 7 shots, 1 shot on target, no goals. Have Man City been taking lessons from us during our wilderness years of possession football?
