As others have said, being dumped out the cup and knocked off top spot by Liverpool last night, City will definitely have something to prove tonight.
That said, could they try to force it too much, overplay, leave themselves open for the counter?.......doubt it, we'll probably get our arse handed to us.

The team have done us proud over these past three games ( I include Norwich as apart from scoring we totally dominated) the team have put in maximum effort but against this side tonight I fear it will be a game too far. Real shame Biss is out for this as I would love to have seen that midfield trio of Biss, Caceido, Mwepu take on City tonight.

Was always going to be a big ask but I am less confident of us upsetting the applecart now. I wonder if Alzate will return to be the defensive fulcrum or if Lallana's experience will be called upon.

All thing being equal I'd expect a 2-0 City win, the wild card is City's state of mind, will they crack under the pressure from Liverpool or will they reassert their authority? A fascinating match up, can't wait!

Albion have won just one of the last 18 league games (D11, L6) in which Yves Bissouma did not feature.

Going to make life difficult tonight, but he’s also going to be hard to replace when he goes.
