Christ there are some deluded folk on here. Almost expecting us to hold City to 0-0 until 85 minutes and nick a winner. They're in a different class entirely - it could happen for us one day, on a really off day for them, but not early in the season before their fixture congestion.

Maybe but the fact we’re getting into the final third in an away game is an improvement on last year.

We were always going to lose this, we’re playing against an absolute juggernaut, but like every game this season so far, it’s been fun and encouraging for the future.

Yes, like the way we’re breaking with 4 men and with pace.

Trouble is defensively we look very open....

Yep - going to avoid this thread for the rest of the game as it is full of self flagellating no marks.Equal possession and 3 shots in the first half is a massive improvement on previous encounters against the City Globetrotters.

That’s how you play against Man City. We made a few mistakes at the back, but without them and a lot of luck a team can get something out of a game.

Hand on heart without BHA blinkers on.

Are there 3 sides worse than us?

After Burnley next up - I hope so, but currently - we are what we are? An also ran in the Prem with no decent strikers. Same old

Some people on here with very strange ideas and outlooks, we've played well for the most part but the difference in quality in the final third is huge and shows is the score. Generally some positive football being played and against lesser opposition we will be fine,
