3.2 almost, but enough to get praise but no points

This score filled my head before I read your post. It enforces my thoughts on the match. Who will score for the Albion? Murray? Locadia? Trossard? Duffy? Ryan?

Certainly not Locardia, Trossard and Connelly for me, but I would be happy to lose my point and see Duffy score the third.
We may well get smashed but I feel Potter will have a plan for them.

Yes, I now realize Locadia should have been Maupay. I just am not feeling a drubbing by City.

Dunno why but I have it at 0-1. We held them to 1-0 in the Semi maybe we can reverse that. Who ever has us at 0-3 damn that would be good to see.

The semi was close ...but then we seemed to have lost by a bigger margin the last game of the season.....wonder when City last failed to score in a league game

Well, it's silly season so I'll go against the grain: 2-2.
Entertaining encounter that sees the Albion combine some heroic defending with speedy counter attacks and some clinical finishing from the few opportunities we get in the Citeh penalty area. Fancy a goal from one of our centre backs (header, probably Duffy) and a surprise wonder goal from Davy Propper.
At some point, we'll pull off a shock away - might as well be this Saturday

I've voted other . . .we'll score . . .maybe twice . . .Man City will score, maybe 4 or 5 . . . . 4-2 isnt unrealistic. . . . . I'd rather we won 2-1 though, I've had a minor flutter on a draw and away win . . . . could be £250 up Sat night ;-)

Head says 2-0 to Citeh, but then my heart reminds me of how well Potter's Swansea did against a strong Citeh last season, so i'm hopeful of surprise.

They're not unbeatable up there as Palace proved last season but we will need all 11 to be on their game and a few of theirs to be off their game and maybe Kyle Walker finally getting a red.

So the next time someone asks why Brighton sacked Chris Hughton, tell them any of the following:

They have more possession.
They complete more passes.
They have more than one way of playing.
Their squad is a little younger.
They are having much more – and better – shots.
They are conceding much fewer shots.
They are taking as many shots from open play as the literal European champions.

2-1 to the Albion it is then.

I have gone with my heart this game and predicted 1-1. My head says 3-0 to the bad guys though.

I can see the Albion playing very well against City. City are the sort of team who could get us playing our best football. You never know but I think we might surprise a few?

3-0 to City
