Managers who will get sacked this season

NO chance
He's one of the few managers in the prem who actually seems to RELISH not having an open chequebook. He's far happier buying relatively unknown players on the cheap and turning them into superstars. There always seems to be a genuine reluctance on Wengers part to spend big - and thats a trait that undoubtedly makes him very popular with Directors on the board.

Who could they possibly replace Wenger with, and expect to get the same results on the same kind of budget ? I think the guy is practically unsackable. If he does go, it'd be because he fancies a fresh challenge somewhere else.

I did say it was left field.
It all works well when he's guarenteed to bring in the big bucks.
Losing CL to the 'big 4' is the same as relegation to the rest.
There must be concerns, in boardrooms, over City. Arsenal has to be favourites to drop down to 5th (what a joke that is), and with the debt they are carrying won't be looking to climb back, any time soon.

When was the last time they won anything? (more humour)

Didn't they just beat( 3-0 ) Athletico Madrid for some cup?

I think Wenger's a good call too. Remember, there's also a bit of a boardroom barney going on as they look to keep that sleazy arms dealer (can't remember his name, Usmanov?) out.

A few bad results, Fabregas off to Spain, out of the CL and disquiet amongs their fans (and there were plenty of unhappy fans last year when they finished fourth) and Wenger could be gently eased out - I agree that he's unlikely to be actually sacked.

Sure, but then if they looked to replace Wenger, who could they turn to who could come in and cement their top 4 finishes without having anything like the budgets of the clubs they are competing with ?

I always feel those Arsenal fans who moan about Wenger are absolute NUTS. The guy is a miracle-worker.

Totally agree, esp the last bit.

But that doesn't mean to say he's bullet proof.
If his employers think he's costing them £40+ million they may well look else where, to 'get the job done'.

I see Tony Pulis is getting his excuses in early....

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has described the latest round of international matches as "ridiculous".

Pulis has long been a critic of the international fixture schedule, and has urged other managers to speak out too.

He told BBC Radio Stoke: "Before the season starts, they take the players away for a week. It's ridiculous.

"It's no good Tony Pulis saying it, who's Tony Pulis at Stoke City? The big boys are going to have to start doing something about it."

He added: "I've got no problem with players playing in competitive matches.

"But if they want friendly matches, let them pay their wages and cover their insurance costs, and then let's see how many friendly matches are played then."

In addition there are five World Cup qualifiers taking place on Wednesday meaning Pulis will be deprived of several players in the lead-up to the Potters' first game of the Premier League season, against Burnley at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

So we're back on the "lah-dee-dah how DARE they take our Premiership players away for International friendlies" bandwagon. Its WORLD CUP year. Just GET ON with it Pulis, you old woman.

Got to be Paul Hart, surely, he only got the Pompey job because he was the cheap option.

Paul Sturrock at Plymouth looks a likely bet to me- didn't do much when he returned to the club last season. Gareth Southgate will be spared imminent unemployment only by virtue of a very loyal chairman- likewise Paul Ince, who I'm not entirely convinced will be as successful at MK Dons as he was first time around.

Told ya so :D

Did ya use one a these to figure that out?
