yet again a english football fan has been stabbed in Rome, this is the 3rd time in 3 matches involving english teams in Rome, that a english fan has been stabbed.

And they say we have problems.

He was probably being a twat, and it is the Roma Ultras innit. They are like the Mafia.

As sad as it is I can't say it's suprising. Was obvious something like this was going to happen. No doubt UEFA will turn a blind eye and/or blame the english fans again.

If you go to a football match and don't act like a twat nothing will happen. This man was probably asking for it and very drunk.

Being drunk shouldn't lead to you to fear for your life, fair enough it might not be the most thoughful thing to do given the history of violence but you can't say he asked for it because he was drunk. I think (from what I understand) that places like Italy you don't need to be 'asking for it' to get into trouble.

And how do you know he was asking for it? Were you there to witness the incident?

An English football fan must be a thug because he got stabbed?

Don't be a knob pal.

Really? So he's not on holiday? Doesn't live there?

Where are you getting the facts from?

Its not the point really, A Manchester united fan has been stabbed AGAIN, Wasn't it in Rome before when a few Man United fans were stabbed?

You know very little of the problems encountering visiting fans when they arrive in Rome do you ?

Do you have even the tiniest, faintest shred of evidence or reason to make such an assertion? A piece of information known only to the Italian police and yourself perhaps?

FFS - you have absolutely no information about what happened whatsoever, yet you say he was 'asking for it'.

Christ almighty.

How much more evidence is needed to convince you?

Uefa wont do anything, if it happened over here we'd have the book thrown at us.

I do think Rome have been twats by announcing the alcohol ban a week in advance thus warning all fans to get their booze outside the city centre. Would of been muvh better if it was a suprise for everyone
