As good as any striker not named Ronaldo or Messi, only 24, proven to be consistant in our league over the last what 5 years or so?

Good deal. When players that were couple million recently cost 10 and those who were 5 cost 30, it's not THAT crazy taking other deals into account. The market is what's f-d up not this deal in isolation.

A beast of a player. In terms of shrugging defenders of the ball he is super heavy weight. Making someone like Drogba look middle weight in comparison.

Lukaku is nailed on to score goals in the Prem, a much better signing than Pogba.

They're in for Alvaro Morata for £75m as well apparently. £150m on two players. Insane!!!!

Apparently it's likely to be Morata OR Lukaku, not both. The other player likely to come in is James Rodriguez, but until the deals are done, who knows.

It is under the premier league payment structure. £30m is now around standard for an on-field player after Pickford going for that price

It might be the PL payment structure, but nobody can tell me 75m is a steal.

You could buy Scotland for that.

Gone are the days when a player is actually worth that much......it's all down
to clubs with fat, w*****r billionaire owners willing to raise the stakes. Football died
30 years ago really.
