Surely they can spend about half of that and get some real quality in like Ribery. Real have gone mad this summer.

Ribery's already said he wouldn't play in England because the weather's crap like it is in Germany, and Manchester gets the crappiest weather in the UK, which imho has always been one of the reasons Ronaldo wanted out. If you're Portuguese and can play in Spain you don't really want to be waking up to slate grey skies day after day. For the same reasons I would think Tevez and Robinho will be heading for Italy/Spain at the earliest opportunity.

Dont care what replacements they get in.....he is the difference between winning the premiership or not. Wide open(ish) next year.
They have to keep Tevez now.

Ridiculous money but a wise move if he again said he wanted to go.

Shows what money you can get for a want-away forward player! (hint)

Watch him turn into a shadow of the player he was at Utd. In a team with no structure he'll try and do it all by himself like in the CL final, one of the reasons Utd were so poor IMHO.

And will he care? He's got himself a life in the sun, stupid bank balance etc. I'd happily turn into a shadow of my former footballing self for that lifestyle!

That said, funny how he was talking about his loyalty to Ferguson a week or so ago, and about what a father figure he was etc.

The Champs League Final illustrated why an egotistical and self-over-rated ponce is a pariah to any football team - even if they are the best in England.

Their other prima-donna Berbatov should be jettisoned too, except they might have to take a loss on him.

I think we're almost all in unison in wishing Ronald-o a farewell and hope he gets, in his new job, totally and completely ....found out.

WTF! So Ronaldo isn't actually any good now? What a load of tosh.

Absolutely spot on. In a team full of superstars there will be, like you say, no structure. Combine that with a manager that will fail to control all their ego's and Madrd will struggle. Well maybe not struggle, but they won't win the CL.

Best bit of footy news in ages. Good riddance the cheating-diving-smug-faced git. I just hope and pray Utd draw Real in next seasons CL, and give them a damned good spanking.

Villa isn't there yet, Robben will be injured half the time, Raul's past it and Ronaldo's a twat. Kaka is awesome though.

I thaught that the Villa deal was done? Valencia are £300m in debt, its only a matter of time!

I agree the Raul is past it but he is 'Mr Real Madrid' and will leave/retire on his terms not the clubs and Robben has played most of this season hasnt he?

Not sure I can believe what you've written about Ribery. He's from Boulogne not Saint-Tropez. Earlier in his career he played for Brest which is quite possibly a wetter place than Manchester.

If Man U made an offer which was acceptable for Bayern, Ribery would be there like a shot.

Robben's definately going. But Kaka, Ronaldo, Raul and Huntelaar/Higain/Van Nistelrooy is pretty damn good
