Men escape serious injury after Sussex plane crash

Two men escaped series injury after a light aircraft crashed.

The plane came down in a field in Framfield, near Uckfield, just after 3.30pm today.

Sussex Police said one of the men on board needed treatment for a thumb injury but they were otherwise unhurt.
