I read somewhere that Utd have over 60k season ticket holders and 75% of them have manchester Post codes

so how does that tie in with the "plastics" label then young Mr Gully

I think Gully means that out of all the Man United fans in the world only a small percentage are from Manchester.
I could easily name 10 people i know that are 'supporters' but don't come from Manchester...

Well if you want to do that, you can say that half the world is "plastic" barcelona fans!...or when Bex played for Real madrid, most kids who went on holiday to Spain and were bough Real madrid shirts with beckham on the back were " plastic" fans

There is so much bullshit snobbery about "supporting your local team" . Who gives a shit who anyone supports?

Yes, he's right but it doesn't follow that there are more Man C fans than United ones from Manchester.

If the Albion had 60,000 hardcore Sussex fans, I'd be delighted if there were a few million more all over the world and I saw the stripes wherever I went!

Not to mention all the sales in merchandise for the club

I agree with you DTG but we are in a minority. It has become so fashionable to hate Man U that I think some people are more passionate about that than they are in their love of the Albion!

To be honest i'm not fussed if they don't want to support the Albion, its there choice.
Its just the odd one or two that always fill the need to ram down the fact that Brighton are abit shit even though they have never seen there team live (so taking the easy option) that grates with me abit...
