Where is the joy in supporting a club like Manchester City? My brother in law supports them (no glory hunter, he’s been with them for years through thick and thin), and he admitted to me the other day that with nothing left really to fight for, no anticipation, no uncertainty and excitement, it’s just a bit, well, boring. I almost felt sorry for him.
