As things stand, my tickets are going to be unused. What a waste.
Sorry didn't realise it had been mentioned. I'll wade through the other threads.
Looks like it will be a long drive.
Contacted National Rail Enquiries, if they do run there's a bus replacement between Stafford and Crewe. Can get a train to Leeds but Trans Peninne is subject to cancellation.

Trans Pennine may be subject to delay but I think Northern, taking the route Leeds to Man Vic is OK.

If you can get to Coventry (or Leamington Spa or Warwick which will be on the Chiltern line which I believe is running), I've got 2 spots from there.
