Thanks for clarifying that. I was rereading the website as i thought i'd misunderstood.Always been the bottom of the pile before so never had any hope. Priority 2 so got an outside chance.

Does anybody happen to know (a) if priority groups comprise STH only, and (b) if numbers in each group are equal. Just trying to estimate odds of obtaining a ticket if in group 2.

Yes only season ticket holders are in the ballot.

If you're keen when the priority 2 window opens you'll get a ticket. Groups aren't equal in size but the first group is the same as the amount of tickets available. As not all the priority 1s will buy tickets there will be some left.

I was P2 twice in the earlier ballots and got tickets both times without any bother at all. Just need to log on and be ready before the ‘live time’, and as soon as you are in, select seats and get them in your basket - don’t dither over choosing at all, because if you do someone else will pick them. Once they are in your basket you can relax and go through the rest of the process

Some of the previous matches a few priority 3s got tickets but think there might be a lot of pent up demand for this match.

Did part of that canal in the 80’s ...from near Skipton and the Bingley five ...across the Pennines..Barnoldswick to Burnley and back...loved it as i have done all my canal holidays

I picked up a group 4 for the SU game that someone jettisoned...this time a tad different...weather better (hopefully)...opposition and general covid situation leads me to think my group 3 has no chance..... never say never but be prepared to watch the ticket site every night
