Man City away postponed - now likely to be 19th/20th April

For those who purchase advanced train tickets etc.

Originally scheduled for 19th March weekend - this will 99% be rearranged as it’s FA Cup quarter final weekend, so means another midweek trip to Manchester this season for us.

The way it's going we could end up playing a one-off, winner takes all v Spuds on neutral turf in July.

Yes - they could make it just like a Sunday league double header: two back to back matches of 60 minutes each. Perfect solution. Play it on a neutral ground eg Selhurst

Odd one this.

Tickets on sale tomorrow, massive chance it will be postponed yet still the £1 booking fee which will need to be done again.

What to do?

A quid, as they say, is a quid.

As Hannibal Lecter said to Clarissa "where's the quid pro quo?" "What do I get in return?"

Are they really going to go ahead and sell tickets for this tomorrow? Seems like a shot in the foot moment.

On sale date has been delayed until the 5th round has been played

Or another neutral ground in the area, say Millwall? It would be a good test to see if the (not so) New Den would be a suitable venue for our Euro 2028 bid.

If it does go ahead, be aware that Citeh charge £10 to put your rucksack into a locker for the duration of the march. A fellow Brighton Cottager who went on Saturday told me this. Oh, and they confiscate brollies.

Basically both Manchester away games this season could well be played midweek, power to the fans (customers). ???

This has always been the case for FA Cup weekends, if we, or our opponents are still in the competition, the league fixture is moved. The United one was moved due to COVID, but dont get me started on that one

Looks like the only midweek this game can be is of the week commencing the 18th April - as Man City provisionally have games every other midweek, already presuming they’re through in the Champions League
