This thread is now giving me nightmares 😆

I started off last night feeling it’s a blatant 3-0 to City …. and have now worried myself to the point of 7-1 to City with us scoring first and ‘Brightony’ becoming a new term like ‘Spursy’ 😒

I would settle for 0-0 right now and I am close to making this my first ‘ignored thread’ 😆

Bang! And the dirt is gone.
If we go after them.from kick off and get a goal early (I know), their heads may drop. But given all the silverware, it seems unlikely. Unfortunately we might be feeling like Kamala Harris on Saturday evening, although it will be pale blue that has run all over us, not burnt orange.

We’re the RAC of the football world, done it so many times before I’ve lost count.

“Can’t buy a win? Lost a dozen on the trot? Then play the Albion! We’ll gift you 3 points to get your season going again”

And, maybe for the first time in the Pep era, they consider themselves more likely to lose this game than win or even draw it.

I had a read there last night for a laugh. Some of the hyperbole is truly hilarious. Describing their club as an “embarrassment”, “in crisis” etc. Probably overtaken Manchester United fans as the most entitles fan base in the country.

I'm going to be positive about it. They're always terrifying up front and will get loads of chances, whether they've been winning or not. Nothing changes there. The good news is that, defensively, they're not invulnerable currently. So we've 'just' got to exploit that, play a blinder, take our chances and maybe we can win 5-4 :)

Sussex but not by the sea
That little twat Foden destroyed us in this fixture last season, but it was at the 'height' of our injuries and the RDZ falling apart stage.

Rodri is a huge loss for them, it really does seem to bother them. Then a lot of other big players for them are out or just coming back. Remember before this 3 match losing streak they were a bit lucky to beat Wolves and Fulham. They don't feel quite the same team this season (cue 0-5)

We could see both Dunk & Pedro back in our squad this Saturday too, plus maybe Baleba.

We have a 1 in 4 chance I reckon, which is better than the usual 1 in 10 chance I'd normally give us in this fixture.
