Told the Wife that Villa away was they end of the season.
Watched most of the play-offs, FA Cup & CL final so another game may be pushing it a bit too far.
Anyway, cant afford the take-away bill.

World Cup Euro Qual - Group F

Malta vs England
7:45pm Friday 1st September
Ta'Qali National Stadium

Another SHITHOUSE reason to not have an Albion game that weekend: that's all England games mean to me ATM.

Qualification for a World Cup, the first of two in countries that don't deserve to host such a tournament, at a time when you'd basically have to be Scotland not to qualify thanks to the number of teams that play. No thanks.

Sometimes right, sometimes wrong but ALWAYS certain

approx 2/3rd island supports England and the rest Italy. Been there when England beat Italy and the carnival on the streets was quite something. They like their football over there try do!

Must have changed a little since I was there all those years ago. No love lost for Italy. Dom Mintoff has much to answer for. :lolol:

I was in Malta numerous times in the Navy
Haven't been back for over 30 years so looking forward to revisiting The Gut (Strait Street) and seeing how much it's changed since them days
Just so happens that England are playing at the same time and no Albion game to go to, so why not

Hard to walk down it now.
It's full of tables and chairs outside the many restaurants.

Bought two tickets for the game and the total price for both was £40.00

Big thumbs up to Malta FA for not turning it into a money making game

They're not on sale here yet!
Where did you buy them?

Also they will cost €60 here but for the Slovakia game they were €30

English FA site but you have to be an England Member to buy them (which takes about 6 weeks to come through after passport etc checks )
It doesn't have a waiting list of 5,000 either !!
