Malmo won 1st leg 1-0 at Ibrox.

Rangers are 1-0 up at the moment but down to 9 minutes but playing pretty well.

Would be some achievement if they can pull this off

Not sure why any British person wouldn't want them to get through. Really hope they do it. Been to a Rangers match & had a great time in the pub drinking with their fans. Brilliant bunch (except maybe when let loose in Manchester!?!)

I have family local to Malmo so I'm cheering for them. And because I don't really like Scottish football

Perhaps is that because you do not understand it due to finance or geography or whatever ?

Nope. I rather like Scotland as a country, I just don't like their football. A league dominated by two supposed giants from the same city who seem to exist purely to cater for fans of different religious denominations doesn't seem much fun to me.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good footballing rivalry but why bring religion into it? It's pretty pathetic

The religion is incidental. It's about politics and nationalism (arguably equally as poisonous, but hey).

And I dont think that has any place in football either.

The only football politics I care about are campaigns for planning permission to be granted

A perfectly reasonable point of view.

2 down 2 to go.

Would LOVE for Scotland to end up with brutal coefficient points this year, because the 10 points they have for Rangers getting to the finals are about to expire. Trips to Kazahkstan on a Thursday night in Round 1 qualification beckon :D
