I would recommend a wedding ring to all single men tbo. It is a fanny magnet.
Not quite sure that I will be ever ready for a civil partnership, Les. Going to try the marriage malarkey one of these days....I hope!

Talking of 'Civil Partnerships' the Widow/Widower ? of the late Gaydar website creator will lose £2.5 million of his late partner's £6.5 million fortune as they never got legally hitched. Strange how the Inland Revenue works isn't it ? Maybe he should get some financial advice from Ken Bates.

Since I am not a chap, I haven't voted. But I don't actually like men in jewellery of any sort including wedding rings. But then I don't like wedding rings anyway. They tend to come with a fearful amount of baggage. Including a presumption of "ownership" that I find very uncomfortable.
Zef wears one and I think its actually very sexy.... I don't think he wanted to wear one, but did it initially for me, and now I think he actually likes it....

On the few occassions when I've tried on a ring and actually got it past my knuckle (I'm a fat fingered bastard) it has resulted in a maddened panic trying to pull it off as quickly as possible.

Voted nope as I don't qualify through being single and never married, don't think it is ever likely to be an issue anyway, if I did manage to climb over the wall to the asylum and find someone crazy enough to say "I do" then I would give it serious thought...but would probably rather spend more money on a ring for my intended than one for myself.
