I hope when this is over people remember which companies acted well and protected their staff and which companies acted like dicks, and consume accordingly.

Yeah that's what I mean I've only filed a 9month year self employed after dad retired, I file my first full year beginning of April so there isn't 3 years to go back on?

BBC says the government advises the following

What about takeaways?
People can still use takeaway shops and delivery companies, according to the government's guidance.
However, customers must not eat or drink while waiting for their food.

Why must customers not eat or drink while waiting seriously any ideas?

Because it is a take away. And hygiene I guess?

I guess it's to stop any blurred boundary between takeaways and restaurants - e.g. Grubbs which has tables but is only really a takeaway.

This country is really thick as pig shit isn’t it. Gone to the dogs.

I really don’t know why people would risk a takeaway unless they had no other food. Every other week in The Argus they list dozens of shops that fail hygiene inspections. Dire at the best of times, nor sure right now I’d want some bloke with his hands down by his Corey and snot on his hand towel, serving my supper.

So... Sweden.

Stockholm decided to decrease public transport, meaning busses are now get so crowded they cant even pick up more passengers.

Swedish ventilator producer Getinge AB sending 500 ventilators to Italy, saying they have no orders from the Swedish government.

State announced they will pay Volvo 300m SKR (about £30m) a month to pay permitted workers. Day after, Volvo reveals that shareholders will get paid 9,5b SKR (about £950m).

On a happier note, people have finally started dying here so we may see some action at some point.

I've never been ill from a takeaway (touch wood) despite not having the most robust of stomachs.

Because every time you got to the supermarket it’s been stripped bare and the few things you manage to buy have to be paid for by queuing cheek by jowl with some bloke who’s probably had his hands down by his Corey and snot on his sleeve?

I should stress that I'm not a medic and I'm not qualified to answer your question.

I believe that moderate exercise, such as short runs, has been shown to mobilise white blood cells (t-cells) and is good for the immune system. Also being fit will reduce your likelihood of getting ill more generally.

Anecdotally, I believe that going for a run can help to fend off a developing cold. I would've thought that it would only be a positive thing to do unless you really over do it and are not used to it?

I think the evidence base is still quite thin on the ground though.

Thank you, that’s really helpful. [emoji106]

I do run regularly and have a treadmill in the garage so can do it whilst maintaining social distance but genuinely didn’t know the effects it could have with this unique virus.
