As was reported elsewhere as the child only has a Chinese passport, not a dual citizenship its the Chinese who are not allowing the boy to travel not the British government.

As I understand it is also the case that this virus is very mild in children and young people, so they shouldn't really be panicking either

Sometimes I think the planet could do with losing 50% of the human population. Trouble is I seem pretty susceptible to respiratory diseases so would prefer a different pandemic to clear the planet instead.

Could just drop a nuclear bomb somewhere isolated. The spread of radiation would probably kill off half of the world's population. Any takers?
