The thing I don’t quite get about schools is that there are hundreds of classrooms sitting empty in this town alone in the closed university buildings. Surely these could have been utilized and still could be in the next 3 months.

Schools/unis/hotels/conference areas/outside areas/council buildings/disused office buildings.

Shame no one want to talk about options and both sides just refused to talk via the media.

So how would that work exactly. Maths in Falmer, Geography in Moulsecomb, etc., etc.

The realisation has to be there, all the while social distancing and small class sizes are here education is ****ed and is no more than child care so people can go to work...

Michael Gove: "The public has had enough of experts."
When he said that, he was thinking of you. The problem is that most of the public now recognise that expertise is important. But you're still with Gove c2016.

Just experts that have proved time and again they are horribly wrong, break the rules they made to get laid and then speak out against his teams recommendation

Seems like an expert we should pay an attention to.

Quite

" Man eaten by a shark died of Covid 19 after testing positive "

It is good to see there are still some independent free thinkers out there

I love the way when someone agrees with your opinion they are “an independent free thinker” clearly implying if they don’t then they are some sort of sheep following the herd (immunity)...

I have heard the expression confirmation bias many many times recently and now I understand exactly what it means!

Your problem is that you really don't know what you're talking about but, for some strange reason, think that you do.
What qualifications do you have? Are you a scientist? Even more apt, an epidemiologist? Or how about statistics?
If the answer is no to all these questions, which I suspect it is, might it not be an idea if you reined back a bit?

Yeah I read that too, would certainly tie in with the many claims of people here saying they had it in December, January and February (myself included).

I was ill with "flu" 3 times from December to January. I usually get something in the winter, but not three times. This had me off work three times. To be clear I'm 100% now.

Before the virus struck I went to the Doctors who told me there was something up with my immune system.. Then (after I was a bit lazy going back) it struck. Never went back, round here was one of the early hot spots and the GPs were inundated.

I've never even thought I *may* have had it, just that I was potentially more likely to suffer badly on what the Doctors told me, so I've been the model "lock downer".

I've subsequently taken one of the anti-body tests and it came back negative, although those early ones are inaccurate is has to be said on negative results.

So I read with interest that they now are pretty certain the majority of cases entered this country via Spain from 28 Feb and 29 March

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52993734.

I don't think I had it, although three neighbours did. I'm just glad I shut myself down.

What has he been proved wrong about? That wasn't based on the information available at the time?
