You can only go outside for exercise one time a day? I doubt very much there would be any way they could enforce this. If someone gets stopped they will say ' its my first bit exercise today' even if it wasn't.
What about the distance somebody could travel also to undertake some exercise i.e. a walk along hove seafront, travelling from another Town? Were there distance boundaries specified?

Hasn’t stopped people so far.
Although I'm sure some rules have been broken, most of what we're seeing is people ignoring the advice given, rather than rules, as very few rules had been given.

Key workers remains this list. Each press conference would last for inordinate amount of time, and be a literal turn off, if they had to repeat all key information from all previous press conferences.

Key workers - shirley the employer determines whether they are or not, the employee doesn’t need to fret with the dichotomy of is or isn’t?

nothing in the transport section about boats; my firm keeps tugs and bunker boats going, i consider that essential, but do the cops?

Essential is food and medicine. Not building materials ! Police and council will be out tomorrow closing things up

Shopping for basics necessities like food and medicine, with Downing Street saying you should do this "as infrequently as possible" and use food delivery services "where you can"
•One form of exercise a day, such as a run, walk or cycle. This can be done alone or with members of your household
•Any medical need, to give care or to help a vulnerable person
Travelling to and from work, but only if this is "absolutely necessary" and cannot be done from home

I’m in a quandary....can’t work from home...work is necessary to pay bills (unless they’d like to start helping self employed more)..if I see a customer it’s outdoors and well apart and brief if at all...i started my own work distancing policy three weeks ago.

Whom do you think that last point is referring to? It doesn't appear to be referring to key workers.

Is this a theoretical question ? The Government are trying to keep you and everybody else alive so it would be ridiculous to look for ways around it, wouldn’t it ?

He's also clarified the exercise issue. Johnson said "one form of exercise per day" not one session. So I could go running a dozen times over the course of a day, or cycle all day. That's not what he meant. But surely whoever writes this stuff (Cummings?) should get the wording correct? Otherwise there will be ambiguity and uncertainty. It's a pseudo-legal statement after all.

It doesn’t matter if you’re on your own and don’t get near anyone else........which is the point......

My usual running routes are going to full of red-faced, panting joggers tomorrow now [emoji3525][emoji3525]

I’m confused... is it ok if I hold a vinyl swap shop and car boot sale (no more than 22 cars) outside Brighton Station tomorrow? It’s going to be a lovely sunny day after all.

Please confirm, thanks.

There must be an announcement for the 5 million self employed this week. Unless a partner in the household brings in decent income, SSP and (now) full access to Universal Credit will in many cases be insufficient to prevent households basically going bust.

Maybe.

I would simply spend the time compiling a 'What If' list of questions.

Give it a rest , getting boring

Ahh you’re one of the ‘it’s just a flu mate’ chaps aren’t you. I wondered where you guys went.

You were telling a few of us off for being doom mongers if I recall:

Media still in over drive .

It’s a mild flu that really shouldn’t concern the healthy . The vulnerable should be careful and sensible but the hysteria is quite remarkable

What, you still think it’s a mild flu?

Please explain. I genuinely want to understand your perspective.
