I think this is good news as it clearly opens a place up for a replacement even if its in the summer. Hinshelwood and Milner can probably provide cover until then. Plus It provides an opportunity for Baleba.
I saw that we have been linked with Enzo Barrenechea too, although that’s a possible summer signing.

A replacement would be nice but is it essential?

Dahoud has made almost zero impact so replacing him with a cardboard cut out would probably fill the void.
well yes, choosing between a mac allister replacement who hasn’t worked out and no mac allister replacement at all seem like two awful options

Just hasn't worked out, his only contribution was a red card

Given how the fanbase spent the entire summer pointing out we didn't have enough fullbacks and then shortly after the window closed all our fit ones got injured I am fully expecting we'll offload Dahoud, bring in nobody and then shortly after the window closes Gilmour &/or Gross will pick up injuries.

Very disappointing, can't be football related, just a breakdown in personal relations

I expect there was a bust up of sorts. However, Dahoud seemed to lack the physical attributes required for the Premier League. He also appeared to be lacking the attitude required to get up to speed in that department.

I’m not so sure. I heard Andy Naylor comment that fans can read too much into De Zerbi’s comments. As in, an inexperienced and limited user of the English language might not always be able to get their precise point across.

I suspect that like Undav and Sancho, Dahoud’s game might be better suited to the Bundesliga.

Well, given as he seems not to be in RDZ’s plans it’s a good move for everyone.

I’m surprised a player of his experience and quality didn’t do better here though, or that we couldn’t get him working. He didn’t get an awful lot of chances to get up to speed or show what he could do in the end, but I don’t think he did a great deal in the games he did play tbh.
