Looks poor to me . Playing alongside an enforcer maybe ok but way to lightweight

Hope more to come but haven’t liked what have seen

Very rarely involved, I hope he is just getting to grips with the Premier league, Baleba on the other hand.....

I like him though he’s clearly still getting to grips with the physical aspect of the PL. It doesn’t help him playing alongside similar profile players in Gross and Gilmour but he has shown some real signs of promise and I think he will prove to be a shrewd signing. As said above, Baleba could be a blessing for him.

He’s started 3 of our 5 wins and came on as a sub in another win so he’s clearly contributing to a successful team effort.

Wonderful touch for Mitoma’s first.

I am not sure what to think of him yet. He is clearly a very talented player but I don’t think he offers more than Gross or Gilmour, and I am not sure if that is simply because he isn’t up to speed yet or if they are just a bit better than him.

Too early to judge really as our CM is a bit everywhere atm.

He doesn't really stand out and often find myself not realising he's on the pitch.

Not sure if he's one of those players that goes about his work and does the simple stuff... or just lets the game pass him.

An ok start. Not very flair but has done some good things. Not the Mac levels but then not many would be. Lallana maybe if he’s fit would fill that void well…

The fact that DZ trusts him says a lot. Same with Buonanotte, who isn't pulling up any trees but clearly has the manager's backing

Today in the first half I'm not sure what the CMs were doing but I'd expect a player with his experience to be a bit braver, to demand the ball, to try and control the middle of the park a bit more. Don't know if RDZ has specifically told Bart to bypass them today but both he and Gilmour were ineffective passengers in the first half.
Both will look much better with Baleba I suspect but I'm not sure he offers enough alongside Gilmour to contribute greatly without that DM next to him.
It was the same at Dortmund where he was ultimately the player who made way for a more defensive player. Suspect the same will happen here the more Baleba plays. Decent player though.

If he offered more than Gilmour he'd be a star player !!

I don't know how much he trusts Buonaotte. Before today he's hardly featured compared to everyone else and was hooked at HT.

Mostly awful today. If you’re going to play in the middle for us you need strength, the ability to win the ball high and the ability to make a flick or pass that moves us forward.

And then he did exactly that and we scored.

I’m torn.

13 appearances in the league last season after arriving in January, shortly after his 18th birthday. Clearly DZ sees something that he likes.
