Bit rubbish if the packages don't come with flights! Had a quick look as easyjet and it doesn't look like the flights are that cheap.

Brilliant stadium, with real steep-style open stands.

A few snaps from my trip last month.

nice. Gets another vote from me, although I had the coldest experience at a football match ever there. Great game and atmosphere though.

So basically the package (which is not really a package at all as it does not include flights) is charging about £80 a night for a hotel, a ticket to a cheap as chips friendly and use of a coach. AND then an extra 52EURO for a tour which actually costs around 19EURO...

To be fair to the club, they're not travel agents, so it looks like something that has been chucked together based on someone there doing a bit of googling then adding a mark up.

But in this new age of professionalism at the Albion, I'd assume that they just get an external agent to package it up for them?

are they managing to sit down, create an atmosphere without a roof, and still enjoy themselves?

I thought this thread was a bit harsh, until I realised the package doesn't contain flights. So why bother?

Wow, 52 Euros to visit Real Madrid. Having taken that tour, what's the extra 31 Euros for ?

You've got to laugh. Who in their right mind would buy one of these packages. I'm hardly a seasoned traveller, but I can just about arrange a hotel in Madrid (they are nice and cheap) and work out how to get to the stadium and buy a tour ticket.

Anyone who purchases one of these is an absolute MUG.

Through the club: £160 for two nights b&b, coach to and from the game and match ticket. Optional tour of the Bernabeu costs an additional 52 Euros.

If you do it on your own: Accommodation available for under £50 for TWO people. 3 day travel pass, £16. The match ticket will be about a tenner, and stadium tours are 19 Euros. Total cost under £60 per person.

JUST SAYING.

So your saving £40 by doing it yourself ???
For just such a small saving I would rather not have the hassle.
