Anyone who purchases one of these is an absolute MUG.

Through the club: £160 for two nights b&b, coach to and from the game and match ticket. Optional tour of the Bernabeu costs an additional 52 Euros.

If you do it on your own: Accommodation available for under £50 for TWO people. 3 day travel pass, £16. The match ticket will be about a tenner, and stadium tours are 19 Euros. Total cost under £60 per person.

JUST SAYING.

Rumour is that Barber has launched an International Seagull Priority Scheme for this. Not only would this guarantee seats for meaningless pre season matches but for all* UEFA Cup and Champions League matches that the Albion play.

Get on it Safeway.

*up to 2013. You will have to pay a supplement of £100 to guarantee tix for European matches for the following 5 seasons.

Should we have a vote on what this scheme should be called?

All being organised through Maheta Malongo believe it or not! So he has to take his cut, as do the club..

the bernabeu tour is decent enough, but i found it to be a bit underwhelming having done the nou camp one...worthwhile though

for those with a similar addiction to STADIUM PORN, i headed down to the home of atletico madrid (the VICENTE CALDERON)...the area isn't as fancy and there isn't a 'tour' as such...but you can literally just wonder in and take in the sights...the stadium is actually pretty impressive

This is like a typical Englandfans thread.

Proper packages are out, which YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE. And you get smart ass northerners, flying out for £35, via 6 airports, that takes 4 days.

It is almost always cheaper to sort yourselves out with all this stuff, at your own risk. But a lot of people like travel agents and organised packages. Deal with it!

True, Athletico are very much Real's poor cousins though. It's a bit like wandering around Boundary Park compared to a tour of Old Trafford or the Etihad.

true, and like i said, there isn't any form of 'tour'...there's very little PRESTIGE unlike at the bernabeu where there is a museum, you can go in the changing rooms etc.

i'm just a bit of a stadium fanatic...i know it's weird i just find them ENTHRALLING. The Vicente Calderon holds just under 55,000 so is bigger than almost all EPL stadiums so it did have some intrigue to me.

Brilliant stadium, with real steep-style open stands.

Absolutely. I loved it too. I'd find the opportunity to be allowed to wander around the likes of many of the old Victorian era grounds like Boundary Park, Gigg Lane or Spotland far more interesting than joining rip off organised tours of the more modern and 'up to date' mega stadia,

when espanyol were playing at the olympic stadium, you could, again, just wander in and potter about...there was loads of stray cats and stuff...it was amazing
