Badly run clubs can go under. Accy Stanley, Bradford Park Avenue, Maidstone United, Hereford, Bury. . . . .doesn't happen that often. New clubs rise up elsewhere. Sometimes as a phoenix.....

But best wishes to the fans of said clubs. We can all understand their fear and possible pending pain.

Not looking good, particularly if all football is told to be play the remaining games behind closed doors given the importance of gate money to lower division teams,

I believe that Southend were one of the clubs that voted to chuck us out of the League in the late nineties.

According to Simon Jordan today on SSN it would only cost clubs about £70k to play a couple of matches behind closed doors. He suggested that if £70k is their tipping point they are already in too deep.
