Thunder Bolt
Silly old bat
Speaks volumes. Doubt if CH and Bruno did this last season!!
They had just won the Championship with 5 games to go, which is hardly the same as survival in the league, even if it is the Premier League.

Did the Albion coaches stop there, on the way back from Liverpool?

Have you quoted the right post? Won the championship with 5 games to go? At Walsall? We survived the PL this season, not last
Yes, I was at Warwick services when Gus & Charlie came in. We were Champions with 5 games to go. We had been promoted the week previously, but that 3-1 win meant Southampton couldn't catch up.
Trying to compare it with CH & Bruno is pathetic imo.
Not sure why you are getting hot under the collar.
Fact - Gus never won the championship at Brighton
Fact - CH got us promoted to the PL last season
Fact - CH and Bruno are the ultimate professionals (based on most people’s views)
That’s all.
Fact We were champions (small c) of League 1 at Walsall. Why are you making such a big thing of it?
Met Gus and Charlie running around Warwick Services looking for alcohol for the bus trip home in 2011 after the Walsall game
Ok, so your original post:
“They had just won the Championship with 5 games “
Was wrong
Quite. And there's a Wetherspoons at the Beaconsfield one on the m40.

The only services I know of that sell alcohol are on the M4.
Yes, the drivers get discounted food there.
We've had lots of chats with other club's fans when stopping there.
They’re handy for picking stuff up if you’ve been away a few days and getting home late....milk etc.
You've spelled W-I-N-E incorrectly there mate.
Yeah, it's some a long way from the days when motorway service stations had signs up saying "No football coaches" due to all the violence
There is a Wetherspoons at Beaconsfield services, because those services are NOT* on the M40.
*technically
There were around 30 coaches in there. Fans from Albion, Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Watford and Man City all together discussing football. Handshakes all round. Only idiots, a group of alcohol filled Liverpool fans and two young twats, one with an England shirt on (don't think Albion fans). Whatever happened to football hooligans.
Also, why do we all stop on the toll road? Free food for drivers or only services with no alcohol?
