Hope you're enjoying the school holidays!

Yes thanks, no annoying kids getting in the way on my way to work. Can you answer me something? Why are you even here? Only I'm not the only one who just finds it very funny that you and your little pikey mates try your best to make out we're the deluded and pathetic ones, only you post on here ALL THE TIME. Have you got nothing better to do? Nothing constructive to add? Because I dont know how much clearer to make it for you: WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU THINK. YOUR OPINION IS NOTHING TO US. So why would you try and offer it? Other than as a result of a lack of perspective and social cues caused by the years of inbreeding inherent in your sort. Baffles me.

brightonrock, I want to rep you over again for these posts but it's telling me I can't haha.

The way I see it is we've taken a worldwide football chant, ruined with shit meaningless lyrics by Palace, and applied cracking lyrics to it in an amazing environment. So, Palace, f*** off home.

Dude, we changed our nickname in the past so we could nick one of your songs, so nicking another one won't be a problem!! Your a bit peeved, cos deep down your worried it just might sound a bit better when we do it!! Should make for a cracking atmosphere when we meet mind.

Absolutely. Every time we chant SEAGULLS it's a rip off from their chant so what does it matter if they brought it to Britain? If it gets up the noses of the scum, then so much the better.
The first time I remember hearing it was from FC United last November.

I don't mind trying anything new in the way of chants and songs regardless of whether it's been done before by another group of supporters. It has to be better than defaulting to the list of 5 songs we ALWAYS sing. It's so boring it's like listening to Juice FM.

Adopting one of your rival clubs chants. You really are a bunch of clueless f***ing idiots.

Posting nearly 700 comments on your rivals forum. You really are a bunch of (stopping now before I am accused of stealing original palace material)

Do you have a go at Portsmouth about copying your tax-fiddling ways?

Palace "til you die", is that an original copyrighted sarf-east laandan term too? Will you trademark skinheads next?

Like I said that is a song palace sing and is basically one of our main ones. Many have copied and now you lot (at least 12 months behind other teams) have just put it on your song list. While we are at it the Brighton ultras wanted to be accepted by the HF and other English groups but got the piss ripped put of them on all the forums.
Mickey Mouse comes to mind.

OBSESSED!

On hear at 9.30 on a Saturday night and then back on at 8.30 the next morning.

Bless.

Come on guys, let's just accept that this song belongs to the mighty CPFC, it's a total insult for our fans to even sing this song as we simply can't compete with their amazing ultras...

Celtic started singing it way before Palace, no?

Yes they did as they have a strong connection with St Pauli. Also the Yorvik reds (York) sang it well before Palace. Anyway, I cannot beleive that Palace are accusing us of nicking 'their song' when they have nicked it off another team.

I would also say that the use of 'The SEA, The SEA, The SEA' sounds particularly good and makes it distinct from the other teams versions.

Ha ha! We don't know what Lincoln City, Bury and Crystal Palace fans sing at their grounds because we don't spend our lives on their message boards or searching for video clips of their fans on YouTube. We do not care. I think it's funny that you twats are getting so concerned about this :lolol:

Great song.

Don't believe the Nigels who claim it is theirs.

It's a song they happen to sing at Palace, but it is NOT a Palace song.

Most songs football fans sing have been inspired from elsewhere, Marching down the Shoreham road is a interpretation of a NUFC song for example not even our SEAGULLS! OR ALBION are 'original'.

Many many more, just because they're old it doesn't mean they're ours or not copied.

Alot of people say that and then offer nothing, If they moaned on keyboards less and sung more then the songs would catch on.

A famous author whose name I've forgotten said football songs are brilliant, they're almost a type of folk as folk music makes songs getting inspirational from other songs.

Exactly. Where were you yesterday?

This. We are ripping off St Pauli not Palace. Who cares I thought it sounded really good, give it a few weeks and hopefully the rest of the ground will join in.
