Looks a handful and I know his scoring return not amazing so far, get a offer in pronto. Before west ham or Palace or any other team in the Premier or fiorientina or benfica or any other team who are very average beats us to it. Breathe.

Looks more Sean Dyche than Graham Potter

. No chance would isak come here. I think bring back andone, give maupay another year hopefully wellbeck and one other from dykes, Moore lol. No striker with any known pedigree will come here. We don't have that big club factor about us or never will, even though its frustrating. We have to accept who we are. I still get pissed off though when we hear of these mercenary foreign strikers that come about.

The big clubs don't give promising youngsters (>24 yo) a chance of regular first team football and even a lesser opportunity if they are not in Europe.

Once they are 26+ with pedigree they will want to play at the highest level they can (might not be good enough for the top 4?). There is still a chance of turning down Arsenal. More worried about a greater appeal by West Ham, Leicester, Spurs.
Dismayed if we lose out to Everton, Villa, Newcastle, Leeds.

Who shall we send in a time machine to the Albion in 2011 to replace Murray who has just left on a free?

Ulloa a couple of years earlier. he was great for us first time around.

Or go back just before Letting Murray walk on a free, have a word with TB, keep Muzza and save the fella the 3 million for CMS.

Dykes worked hard last night but he was nothing special and he was awful against the Czechs. Che Adams came on at half time and looked a completely different quality to Dykes in terms of movement and control. Dykes is nowhere good enough for anyone in the top division.

Believing that a striker is worth signing because of one half decent performance in a tournament game should be referred to as 'The Robson-Kanu Fallacy'.

Lyndon Dykes is one of the reasons Scotland won't qualify.

Can't fault the lads effort but couldn't hit a barn door when it comes to scoring goals

Yup. I’ve not fully thought through the functionality and potential of a time machine. There are clearly more valuable priorities than sending Dykes into the past.

I’m late 30’s, 6 foot plus and 15 stone, I’d be a handful for defenders on strength and size alone. Doesn’t mean I’d be any good at football though

I wouldn't say no to him tbh, he would get better supply at Brighton than at either QPR or Scotland and would be useful to bring off the bench in games where you need that bit more physical presence up front, i have seen him play very well for Scotland, so dont just judge him on this tournament, which he hasn't done badly in anyway appart from obviously not scoring.

Potter is all about improving players, so sign him up and improve him, unless you think you can prise Klich away from Leverkusen.

Of he'd been around a few years ago we might have gone for him when we couldn't get Kenneth Zahore from Cardiff.
