Well my brother in law who is a STH at Forest can't believe we have better centre halves than Lynch.

Oh sorry we don't, just a manager who doesn't play players in their best positions and signs has beens to replace our quality home grown youngsters.

I don't want Adams out, but he has f**ked up big time over Lynch/Hawkins.

Yep time for Adams to say sorry, swallow his pride admit his was wrong and recall him and get our season started. Can see why he would be pissed off at being behind Hawkins but now hopefully Adams has seen the light on that one time to get our first choice centre back partnership going again. Lynch is obviously partly to blame as well but he is young and just wanted to play football

He was dropped because he didn't want to play for us. Remember?

Whats the point of bringing back a player who doesn't want to wear the stripes ?

More chance of me playing for BHA than that happening. If MA was to do it he would become a laughing stock to the other players, what is possible but unlikely, is Lynch being recalled and HIM saying sorry I want to play for you.

A simple yes, no doubt about it. But if Adams has fallen out with him that's that isn't it.

Yeah, then he can tell us he's not gunna play again.

Maybe if he was kept in the team after playing well (like against Northampton) he would have played. Yes it was unprofessional and he shouldn't have refused to play, but I'd rather Mickey brought him back to play with Tommy again.

We need Lynch back. Period.

Forget who said what, who did what, just get him back. That will give us three decent centre backs, Elphick, Virgo and Lynch ... the minimum we need. Hawkins can be fourth string for emergencies. And ElAbd can play the holding role in midfield which i personally believe he does rather well.

Joel only wanted away because he was being treated unfairly - How Hawkins get in a team before lynch i will never understand - Wonderful man management

He had no intention of staying here-he was looking to move even when your darling Wilkins was manager. You know it, we know it. His departure has f*** all to do with Adams. Try and remember what a fellow pro said about him fairly recently before you make ridiculous comments like you have here.

No-Lynch f***ed up big time over Lynch/Hawkins. Some of you people see what you want to see-remember what was said by a senior player about Lynch thinking he was much better than he actually is? He has been looking to move to Forest long before last season ended-while Wilkins was manager.

He doesn't want to play for this club-get over it. He is not coming back and it is of HIS choosing.

it all went wrong after the 1st goal and the lift they got if we had got the 1st goal things could have been so different cos there heads would have dropped.now although it's a bit unfair to blame 1 player i can see what c badger is on about because it was a complete f*** up from elabd for the 1st goal and there is no doubt the way forward would be joel and elphy but joel dont want to play for us

Virgo Lynch Elphick Richards would undoubtably be a very strong back four for us.

I am a massive Lynch fan but I think we need to accept that he won't be playing for us again...

Not everyone of course, but it annoys me when some who I expect were slagging him off when he went, now begging to get him back....

errr?? ???

We almost certainly don't have a recall clause anyway so whatever, it's all a waste of time to talk about it.

There is a reason why Richards doesn't get a look in at Ipswich. He can't cope with pacey or skillful wingers and is too small so he doesn't come into the equation of a decent back four. The other three are fine!

Get him back.

Should never have been allowed to leave.

He shouldn't have got a strop on when he wasn't in the team but a better man manager may have dealt with it differently.

As it is we have loaned him out and Knight has done his PR bit saying he would like to see Joel play for us again so that he does not look bad when we sell him...

Agreed and if i was picking the back four it would be Whing, Virgo, Elphick Lynch.

But there is no point mentioning Lynch playing as left back on this forum because people will just say "what about the Mansfield game."
