Not gospel as in the Mirror but they say Nottingham Forest hope to make the loan signing of Brighton defender Joel Lynch permanent.

Not suprising. Letting him go when we've shipped stupid goals all season was just one many inexplicable decisions made by Adams. Just hope we get some decent money for him.

Toys out of pram after 3 games of not starting, in a month when we actually briefly topped the table.

He can f*** off as far as I'm concerned

Whilst a Team cannot accept "toys out of pram" behaviour, I think that we have "cut off our nose to spite our face". The lad is a good player - better than we have available to play, with the possible exception of Virgo (if he plays CH).

In addition, there appears to have been something of an issue with Adam's treatment of a very good young player who was desperate to play for the Club, but pushed out of the side by a donkey!

I am told that he was promised a start, which Adams went back on, then went OTT when Lynch complained.

Hopefully, we will get a decent amout for him, but under the circumstances it is unlikely that we will get what he is worth.

Yeah, just imagine being annoyed at seeing an injured Colin Hawkins getting selected ahead of him. How ridiculous, of Joel. Did he not realise that Micky Adams is a messiah who knows EXACTLY what he's doing when it comes to team selection?

How many times! Hawkins played every game of our unbeaten start at the beginning of the season and it would of been highly unfair if he had been dropped for any of these games, I'm sure you would agree. Hawkins was injured towards the end of August, but by this point Lynch had already handed in his transfer request before the Southend game (after 4 games!). Hawkins was injured for the Orient game, which Lynch was in the squad for, but spat his dummy out and didn't want to play. Why would you want a bloke like this back?

Precisely
£200k for a player who plays when he feels like it .......snatch their hands off
I agree with every word you have said about Hawkins ...he played like a donkey when bought back to early after a hernia Op...but was still willing to do so.

Adams was undoubtably an arse over Lynch but where do you get the idea he was desperate to play for us. I understood the Forest interest had turned his head at the end of the previous season. Seems he threw a strop knowing he had a way out if he didn't get his own way??

Adams f***ed up royally this time around but as one of his biggest detractors even I wouldn't totally blame him for Lynch's problems and behaviour and let's be honest Lynch not a good as the NSC legend growing around him is he? People will be talking about him as if he was the defensive Gareth Barry before long
