In terms of potential Prem destinations you've got to think if West Ham were considering March and Bernardo they'd be all over Sessegnon.

West Ham definitely want a LB, but in terms of style of play Sessegnon would be better suited to us, because he would get more freedom to attack. Bernardo would suit their system better in my opinion as he’s more defensive minded. Sess to us, and Bernardo to West Ham, could suit all parties nicely.

You cant but I get the view.

If Veltman is this solid player that we are led to believe. Not flash , good on the ball and a bit of a rock who is consistantly a 7/10 + then he would compliment White and Dunk better than a good but can be erratic Webster.

No slant on Webster but I get the logic.

Sessegnon , Dunk / White / Webster or Veltman / Lamptey - that is not a relegation defence to me. That is potentially a well oiled machine

That defence would be amazing. The prospect of a left back of a similar calibre to Lamptey, opens up a lot of possibilties to us. The dual threat they would carry on either side would mean teams would struggle to double up on them both. It would stretch defences who would be trying to contain both of them and that would open more space for our central players. The difference between having someone who can do a job, and a specialist in the position is massive.

Not a lot of love lost between the two boards of directors there either. Spurs will not want to do business with West Ham if they can avoid it.

Perfectly put.

I misread the thread title, as LBW candidates, and came on to suggest Shane Watson.

He's not even a candidate, he's the bona fide king of that hill. He even gets out LBW while fielding.

Sergio Reguilon expected to sign for Spurs today along with Gareth Bale on loan, we can but dream that we are interested and have the funds and desire from Sessegnon to join the Potter revolution. If we are interested it’s under the radar and we know how Albion do their transfer business.

I am a dreamer, aren’t I

Is the just a thread because someone on NSC suggested he could be useful? Or has there been any paper talk?

I raised it a while back as an option (no substance) as he appears to be surplus.

Papers suggesting he is going out on loan

The reports I’ve read are saying Sessegnon will leave on a loan if Reguilon joins Spuds.

That might not be good enough for us despite Ryan being a very similar player to Lamptey and probably fitting ‘the profile’ exactly. Maybe one of these blasted ‘buy back’ clauses could seal the deal for us?

I don’t know maybe a year loan to bring Cochrane on won’t be the worst thing
