Read gets 100 after being dropped by Joyce on 31

Partnership about to hit 300

Cant see us batting for two and bit days - Psychological approach more than ability now the problem

Pouring with rain in Brighton - how come its so dry in Horsham

Zac on the commentary now saying over 1200 in today and about 200 in hospitality, saying its a challenge to make any money in festival cricket, especially having to move so much up from Hove.

Good of Sussex to give Taylor the runs to get an England recall...
Just doing our bit for the England team! His average before this game wasn't that great though, I doubt he will get selected. Bairstow will the one if any new faces come in

Taylor out for 291. Didn't even make 300, POOR effort really.

Sussex raced to 46-0 off the first ten overs.

Nailed on for maximum batting points and a high-scoring draw.

Nottinghamshire 570/7d
Sussex 53/0 (15.0 ov)
Sussex trail by 517 runs with 10 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

A moral victory to get to the evening session on day 2 without losing a wicket

Sounds like a typical Horsham flat top. Where's Eddie Hemmings when you need him ?

Wells out in sympathy with Joyce.

Nash joins Machan to entertain the locals.

Fear not.

A week or so ago. We played Warks on a flat track. Posted a big score and they followed suit on a big score.

Now I am sure that will happen here. Uncle Buck do you agree?

I hope you are right.

But we have started quickly, which can give wickets away and too many players in our line up to do access the conditions and just go out there in one day mode.
