Utter tosh from Sussex today, any par team would have posted at least 500 today and be looking for a couple of overs at Hampshire this evening, another dull season ahead then with relegation looming.

Its back , and not a moment to soon , some people in the know think Sussex are in for a good season and with any luck will win promotion into the premire league with Surrey and Lancs next season , i'm not sure tiny sussex are quite ready for that yet but i am looking forward to another season of spare tickets and people half finishing their pints , and The Goff steaming in from the sea end .

What the F are you talking about? We're in Div One now you tw+t.....

Nice to see Hampshire humouring us by using the old charity match 'everyone can have a bowl' tactic. They know they have three days to rack up a huge score for the innings defeat we all expect so fair play to them in giving the Sunday peasants crowd something to watch before the important corporate punters arrive on Monday.

Lucky we aren't playing in the higher Division 2 (two is a larger number than one) as those giants of cricket such as Surrey and Lancashire would never be so considerate.

This could be the best day of our season, downhill from here

Good to see the heads didn't drop yet, I'm sure with some more practice the collapse will be achieved in record times.

Tune in for more buffet offerings tomorrow when we start to bowl the ball instead of hit it

Derbyshire scored 535-6 in 84 overs against the mighty Cambridge University. We should be justifiably ashamed of our Boycott like proddings over 13 more overs.

So we've only got 300 goals all season.

FFS, what's the point in going.
