Another rain break would be handy. Getting Gale would be equally handy...
Somebody going and digging the square up overnight would be even handier....anyone on the M1 at the moment?

Digging up the pitch in Leeds? It's been done before, where IS Norris when you need him?
(You may recall the episode of Porridge - 'Happy Release' - where Norris extorts a treasure map from Blanco, and is later arrested by the police after being found digging up a section of the Elland Road pitch in the middle of the night.)
Unlikely they'll get more than 45 in, 50 at a stretch. Need to keep the run rate down or they could be in a position to declare 30 minutes into the morning session if not overnight, depending on how Gale thinks the wicket is playing
Yorks will probably declare before end of play and try for a couple of quick wickets, their normal modus operandi this year.
Ironically Yorks and Notts both effectively 148/3, so both matches identically poised.
Relaxed. Can't see anything other than Yorkshire and Notts victories from these starts....(he says....)
Notts 157/5
Shit. I think we are ****ed to be honest.
