It is sad, but I hate this "we'll use a legal loophole to drop our creditors in teh shit and start all over again" attitude. Leeds were the worst offenders adn see how they have flourished at the expense of shitting on the people they owed money to.

I hope Luton survive, but if you live by the sword....

be interesting to see the breakdown of their debts (%hmcr) and how feasible a cva would be.

Hellfire!

How many more clubs will this happen to? There must be dozens of football clubs--which are after all businesses--close to bankruptcy.Other types of business would simply be closed down.

Will we soon only have The Prem and Championship.....................and England......
to watch?

At least they have done it with sufficient time for the manager to avoid relegation.

Having said that I believe that all clubs that go into administration should be relegated to the bottom division and have to start all over again.

my heart bleeds!

I can't think of a single good thing to say about the place or the club!

plastic pitch and away fan ban anyone ?

Pinkney promised Premiership football within five years. I would imagine that Paul Peschisolido, Don Hutchison, Paul Furlong, Paul McVeigh, Darren Currie and Richard Jackson are paid more than the average League One player! However, I very much doubt that is the root cause of the problem. They have been struggling with the stadium situation since the 80s on top of that. As long as the money is kept in the Premiership then there will be a lot of happy players and happy plastic fans. Football is great, isn't it?

Things are going a bit peculiar at Luton for a while, take a look at Clubs in Crisis for more details - but basically there board have refused to have a fans representative from the clubs trust on the board.
