Have you ever seen so many visiting supporters leave the ground early because their team are two-nil down? Must have been a hundred or more walked out. Incredible! You take the trouble to go to an away game and then walk out because your team is losing with 20 minutes still to go. Are they like that at home??

Cannot imagine that the same would be true of Albion's away support .... except maybe that heavy defeat at Palace a few seasons back.

first of all with regard to those i went with and most around me,we stayed to the end and cheered off the team in defiance of the palarse scum and any anyway the plod kept us in for about half an hour till they had laid on about ten lines of plod, horses, transits, bikes and tanks to ensure we couldn't get near the croydon wankers

according to the stewards the little "firm" who left early were not all Luton fans seemly...some Palace scum in there

In the old days, there were occasions when fans from 'other' teams might tag along for the ruck.

Can't see that really happening now. £25.00 + travel is an awful lot of beer money.

Yes you're right so there has to be an underlying issue...

£25 for a shit view of a shit game of football, and a particularly shit performance from their team just MAY have had something to do with it

my old boss was in the Luton end on Saturday, i spoke to him at half time and his words were exactly 'i cant beleive i was conned into getting tickets again, although at least this time is isnt raining the view is worse than i remember'

never mind its only once or maybe twice a season

Just forgetting their actions for a minute, I thought it was a bit pathetic how many of them even bothered to turn up in the first place. There can only have been 400-500 in their maximum. To put that in perspective, we took that to HARTLEPOOL last week.

Bear in mind that they have so far secured ONE point from SEVEN away games.

Maybe an away record of W0 D1 L5 prior to Saturday had something to do with it. I was talking to some Luton fans on the bus after the game and they said the moment we scored first they knew it was game over.

What is wrong with leaving early if the team is losing to the point there is no chance of getting back into it and playing crap?

It was only a league game.

The second exodus was understandable but the first lot walked out at 2-0 with 20 minutes left to play. They wouldn't have seen their goal.
