I am sure my uncle Bob (R.I.P) told me before Palace, we had a not such a healthy relationship with Luton, he said it used to kick off all the time against them, someone even died or is that just a myth.Luton Chairman wondering whether we will be ‘able to cope’ with all their fans.
Hmm...
The comment about not being able to read NSC because of the adverts made me laugh.Seems this thread has wound them right up
Luton fans can actually READ? Are you sure about that? The comment about not being able to read NSC because of the adverts made me laugh.
Pride is a commercial opportunity these days. 'The pink pound' as you will have heard. Unfortunately what was once a festival of self empowerment seems to be a festival of self indulgence. I do wonder the percentage who attend who are actually gay now.
We'll smash 'em.On the subject of Luton being our first fixture: I vaguely recall an interview with a PL manager (but can't remember which one) where they said you never want to play a newly promoted club in their first 5 matches. The team and the fans are still buzzing from being promoted which makes they surprisingly tough matches. After 5 matches they've probably had a few defeats and they've calmed down a bit.
It’s hard work, the only other one I’ve seen like that is the Lewes Forum, it’s nothing to do with Lewes FC just general chit chat from people in the town.I can’t actually read their forum. Why is it laid out like that ? I seem to remember NSC being the same at some point in the past. Couldn’t read that either.
Perhaps the Luton fans are having general chit chat about Lewes as well. It’s not as if anybody could possibly know. It’s hard work, the only other one I’ve seen like that is the Lewes Forum, it’s nothing to do with Lewes FC just general chit chat from people in the town.
My gay colleague (who's just turned 60) tells anyone listening that Brighton Pride is mainly drunk straight women these days.
I sincerely hope your right, they will be unbearable if the worst should happen, a nice 3/4 nil will be palatableWe'll smash 'em.
They'll wish they'd stayed in the Championship.
Sounds like my kinda do, maybe I'll give it a try this yearMy gay colleague (who's just turned 60) tells anyone listening that Brighton Pride is mainly drunk straight women these days.
yes 1972/73 season saw the Malcolm McDonald car incident at Kenilworth RdI am sure my uncle Bob (R.I.P) told me before Palace, we had a not such a healthy relationship with Luton, he said it used to kick off all the time against them, someone even died or is that just a myth.
