I watched this lad play a couple of games on TV at the end of last season, after we were rumoured to be talking to him. He isn't REMOTELY like Tex. He looks a reasonably solid central midfielder. No Beram Kayal from what I saw, but decent enough.

But maybe capable for covering for Kayal / Stephens for a game or 2 without ruining our style of play?
