Have to disagree with that statement. When he suffered his unfortunate injury against Fulham in November he had become our most potent attacker. Look at this thread after the game against Watford in early October 2014 - Lua Lua

He had come on as a sub, and THREE Watford players were booked for fouling him. Two players were booked for fouling him after he came on as a sub at home to Blackpool in September, and two Norwich players suffered the same fate in November (to give a few other examples).

He was very effective last season, but his injury pretty much ruined his season (he only made a further 4 starts in the campaign).

There was a spell were he looked to be returning to his old self but I got the sense he was flattering to deceive, in such a crapsack side he was the best of a bad bunch.

But hey, I could just be blinded by how horrendous the season in general was, the vast majority has been consigned to my Albion misery draw (along with my play-off clacker, tickets from terrible away trips etc)
