I'm not to sure petulance and a bit of verbals, constitutes 'dirtiest'.

Quite. And it's normally after the ref has let the opposition kick the crap out of him for the whole game, which makes it hard to blame him for it. He should know better but the frustration is understandable.

Are we the dirtiest team?... Sorry most aggressive team!

On a separate note and according to the same website, Bruno, Stephens & Lua Lua in team of the season so far!

He's also been the best. I'll take that in exchange for a few yellows. Good job we have a fantastic player in Murphy who can slot in.

From memory his 5 yellows have been 2 for mistimed tackles, one for a petulant trip, and 2 for dissent. He's probably only committed about 6 fouls all season. There's a few dozen in the league who achieve that in a game.

I'd be interested to know how many yellows opposition players have received for tackles on Kaz ???

It may be just my perception but he does seem to 'tempt' the opposition into 'unwise' tackles.

We're still top of the yellow card league.

We've committed 88 fouls, and have 20 yellows - so a foul / card rate of 4.4

We've been fouled 74 times and this has led to 16 yellows - so a rate of 4.63

We have the equal worst foul / card rate at 4.4 with Cardiff (66 / 15)

Burnley have the best at 11.57 - with 81 fouls, but only 7 yellows.

Sheff Wed :) have committed the most fouls at 100, but they only have 17 yellows - a rate of 5.88

Fulham have committed the fewest fouls at 56 - with 10 yellows

Isn't he the most fouled player in the division?
If Referees protected players like Kaz more, , maybe he wouldn't be booked so often

Haha if you scroll down it has the 'best 11'.

That team is AWFUL, only two players from that whole 11 excluding stephens would make our match day squad (Jones and Diame).

Didn't I see a stat that Kaz is the most fouled player too?

In the second half of games referees seem to give out cards for breathing (well not quite but you know what I mean).
This season we are a team that goes for it from the first whistle and tires in the later stages inviting the opposition (who so far have always been chasing the game) onto our defence at just the time when yellow cards get dished out most readily.
My guess is that we have had relatively few cards given in the first half when bookings tend to be based on "old fashioned" values of foul play, and, like most teams, rather more in the second half when we have been more vulnerable than others to teams being invited on to our defence.
It could easily be resolved by better game management.

And isn't he the most fouled player in the championship as well, although I suspect Kayal overtook him after Tuesday night

Is Kaz the most fouled player in the league by any chance?
