Is that just pure guess work or is there any information available about it.

I thought he was worth about 900 million but i've never seen that in writing.

Have heard a very similar story about Blooms wealth from someone close to the club.
Before everyone shouts SOURCE!!!...I think betraying the trust of a friend is nothing short of grassing!!!So shot me down in flames, i dont give a shit.
Have seriously heard the stadium is way over budget(no surprise with the state of the country) but it does not matter. Bloom has a wealth way over what most on here think and he wants us to go all the way.

I cant see him in the Times "Rich list " today.

think I'd say no to that and look to sign a winger who is ours for the season

He doesn't flaunt his money to media-types willy-nilly. That's why he's never in the rich list and figures of his worth (£50 million :lolol:) are always way off the mark.

I think you will find there are a large number of people on the rich list that don't flaunt their money. Isn't the reason he isn't on there because he is based in Oz rather than here?

If he is only worth £50m we are further up shit creek than Palace and Pompey combined :nono:

He has already paid the club £93million for the Community stadium at Falmer, so he must be worth much more than £50mil.

He has Brighton & Hove Albion close to his heart and wants to build a successful team here. Since he has been on board the plans for the stadium have changed with a lot of things being top-notch. There are also plans to build a trophy cabinet which has space in it for the Premiership and Champions League trophies.

When he became our Chairman, someone in the national press did question him on why he didn't appear on the Rich List, after putting up the money for the stadium, and he said you only appear on things like that if you want to, plus the fact he lives in Australia for part of the year, people didn't tend to know too much about him. He also said he did not seek publicity, however by putting the money up for the stadium, and becoming Chairman that was unfortunately going to change.

You don't need to be that bright to work out, when someone puts in 70+ million pounds, with no guarantee of getting anywhere near that amount back, he is obviously a very very wealthy man, and 70 million pounds is likely to be small change, in very deep pockets. :falmer:

Whatever he said, you don't get the choice as to whether you go on the rich list. The only reason he is on the Sunday Times one is that he is based overseas. The list isn't a definitive one, it is only based on public information and guestimates by the researchers anyway.

we needed his pace and unpredictability. Benno didnt have a great game and couldn't cross the ball to save his life on saturday. couldnt beat his man either but ended up the match winner. lua lua would be a great signing if we are going for promotion next season.
