I know there must be 20 in the last month! It's since people have latched on to his twitter - and to be fair he's contradicted himself more times than most on it - I wouldn't believe everythnig on there - Poyet thought he had him last wk and still said 'the lad wants to come'. He won't give anything away on his twatter account if he has half a brain. There's plenty of time - 31st Aug to be exact.

Time is running out?

I reckon that means Gus has had enough of Newcastle pissing us about and is going to buy someone. Based on his comments re striker "it looks like a striker is going to be the one that takes a bit longer". I think a new winger may be with us soon.

I would def just hold out for LuaLua. He'll choose us over any other lg 1 club and looks definate to go out on loan. I think the club / fans needsmore patience to get the right man - We know what we're getting with LuaLua and sorry to rpt myself again but IT'S A LONG SEASON - if he misses the first few games cos Newcastle wanna wait than f*** it. Unless there's another left winger who is undoubtadely gonna be BETTER than LuaLua I think we should hold fire.

And what, after waiting until the 30th of August, do we do if he choose to go somewhere else? Especially if a lower championship club come in which could well happen. This constant back and forth is starting to disrupt things now. We've been waiting since June, that's more than long enough.

I'm still not sure Lua Lua is THAT good. Bloody quick and that does make a different but the standard of delivery was poor at most times. I lost count of the number at Leeds alone where he skinned the full back and then just smacked the ball at the first man.

Point taken - Obviously if it did get close to the 31st we'd have to sound out the likes of Spurs re Townsend or whatever. I'm sure Newcastle would give a pretty clear deadline or hint at their decision - ie he's def going out on loan and surely wouldn't wait till the 31st... I like LuaLua a lot - he's explosive...
