Wonder what GP would make of the " grand old team " "school of science" "you've got no history" "faithful" fanbase. Don't think he'll be jumping ship to the muddy old Mersey soon for a history lesson in bitterness when he can amble along to Rockwater for a pilates session, followed by a flat white and almond croissant.

Pitch invasions, banners, mass booing, forums in meltdown.

Here we go again… Graham Potter interested in the fantastic, stable, well run, massive club, not Brighton, we’ve got a new stadium, we’re not a ****ing shambles - Everton job. So says every lazy hack and pundit that’s ever stuck a quill in an ink pot. For ****’s Sake. FFS.

If Potter went to either of these big money car crashes that demand entitled instant success (despite not having any for ages) you just know it’ll end badly because impatience dictates so. GP should stay and see where he could take us over a prolonged period now he’s established. The only problem, as always, is money. That old chestnut ruins everything good about the game.

Steve Walsh (transfer guru pinched from title winners Leicester)
Marcel Brands (DoF poached from PSV)

Koeman
Allardyce

Ancelotti (wisely jumped ship for Real)
Rafa
+ the fans slagged off the caretaker management of otherwise heroes Unsworth and separately Duncan Ferguson.

A revolving door of substandard mercenaries, costing fortunes in fees and wages - Walcott, Sigurdsson, Scheiderlin, Delph, Tosun, Klassen, Keane, Kean, Iwobi, Ashley Williams, Vlasic, Gomes.

8 years of chaos.

Funny how they keep signing Keanes' who are anything but.

Surely it'll be Rooney.

He's been shown loyalty at Derby and is repaying it. Will he feel ready to take on another basket case, but this time with a very flakey board? Would they want to attempt to stave off a slide into relegation with a rookie manager with no EPL experience?

A match made in heaven :lolol:

Since Moshiri came on board they have spunked around £550m on transfers since Feb 2016. Incredible incompetence since his arrival.

Rafa hounded out Rodriguez and Digne. They spend £33m on two new players this month plus sign El Ghazi on loan and now are likely to sack Rafa. They are a joke at the moment and are only 6 points off 3rd bottom.

Isn't reassuring to have so many clubs want our manager. Seems to confirm that TB and the management team are doing something right.

Just the other side of the "little old Brighton" coin to the "careful what you wish for"s which we heard 2.5 years ago.
