Interesting. So Chainrai is owed 14.2 million but this has swelled to £17, £20 or £29 mill depending on which figures you believe since they have come out of admin. I even read on Sky sports comments where Pompey fans thought it was a 'Good thing' that Chainrai wants them out of Admininstration. Of course he does, otherwise his money goes with the club you dumb shits and he is making money on the club regardless of the state its in.

Also if Gaydamak did let the club go for nothing, he lost £50 - £64 million (again depending which figures you believe). Seems a lot of money to lose which could in no way be connected to money laundering.

Isn't this one of the reasons for their present state, he sold the club previously to an unscrupulous man just to get his money back. Not seen any other thread on this. SSN are reporting the football league are giving them an £800K advance on money due to allow them to complete the season. If west ha had won last night, they would have been in such a position that expunging pompey's results would have made no difference to whether teams were promoted, made the play offs or were relegated, and I wonder if the football league would have done it, that is, I suspect giving them the money is as much about avoiding a legal headache and resorting the league.

I thought the money they were getting was the "basic payment" from the Football League that all Championship clubs get. Payments stopped when they went into administration, so they are behind on receiving this.

So it's nothing early and nothing extra - just what they're due anyway. And the FL reserve the right to deduct any payments due to other FL teams from it if required.

So no problems with this payment as far as I'm concerned - just what they'd have got from the League anyway.

My preferred scenarios are either that they go bust in the summer and have to start again in the Ryman League or wherever, or at the very minimum that they get relegated this time round, fail to have (yet another) CVA in place and get deducted more points ready for next season, and struggle again.

If their fans are so great (yep, they've really shown the football world that so far, haven't they?) then I'm sure they'll be happy enough following Portsmouth City FC around the Ryman League next season.
