If you want cliche-ridden, vacuous, gung ho fare with stereotypical characters (your white hero, your ethnic minorities getting their two minutes of airtime etc. etc.) then American drama is fine, disengage brain and enjoy. Seinfeld was pure genius, but the yanks and drama - I just can't do it.

I suggest you watch a few more episodes before calling all the characters stereotypes...
